Our 5 Step Process:
Together, you and Robanne will review what you already have, while making piles for items that are keepers, never to be worn again-er’s, pieces that need a matching friend, etc.
Note: Gents- Robanne will edit all pleated pants out of your closet if you don’t first. She’s been getting men out of pleated pants since they we are passé. 😉
*Pre-Closet Consultation Robanne asks that each of her clients do her easy “Pre-Edit” process to help you get the most out of your time with Robanne:
Part 1 – Take out pieces you wear “On The Regular”
Part 2 – The Rejects- Take out everything you NEVER wear
Part 3 – Re-Group – Organize the rejects into 3 groups:
A) Hell No. ( I’ll never wear this, I loathe it)
B) Maybe (Not sure if I loathe this)
C) How the hell do I wear this? (love it, just need help with how to wear it)
Part 4 – Rehab – This part is done with Robanne’s advice (Here, we go back to the scene of the crime; we use your “on the regular” pieces to bring the pieces you don’t know how the hell to wear back from the dead)
Part 5 – Restructure – (Organize your closet by categories needed and by color to see what you have and then filter in your “On the Regulars” and parts b and c from the “Rejects”
And yes, we know every client is different and categories will be different for every client. For example by work, play, leisure etc.
Robanne also suggests making a vision board of all of your style muses, looks you like, colors, prints, etc. because an animal print can mean different things to everyone, or sophisticated vs edgy can mean totally different things to you than it does to others.
