Instead of asking What Would Jesus Do, when it comes to your wardrobe, give it a shot sometime and ask What Would Robanne Wear? 🙂   Not sayin’ I’m Jesus by any  means, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve when it comes to styling. 😉

How to update your winter look by belting your favorite coat:

As the cold season is here, everyone’s winter coats are in heavy rotation. Thankfully, there’s a little trick to keep the style looking fresh. Hence, one of my fave outfit formulas: wearing a belt over your coat, for styling that feels polished despite how many layers are bundled underneath.

Get the look: Winter pieces especially coats can be bulky, so the belt is a low-effort way to switch up the silhouette by defining the waist. To pull off the street style go-to, simply choose a belt in a color and texture that complements your coat—the rich, tan leather pops against the earthy tones of the leopard print without overwhelming. Should you want to make a bigger statement, go for a yellow belt or red. A black belt would pull the below grey jacket together or any other color depending on your outfit. Finish off this easy look with other standout accessories, such as your fave sunnies, a stand out bag and of the moment booties!

A white or light grey belt would be a great way to make this jacket standout. Don’t forget just because a jacket comes with a belt, doesn’t mean you can’t switch it out to change the look
